Courses held in Milan are recognised by Regione Lombardia since 1980 and during 2003 the Quality Management System of Istituto Carlo Secoli has been assessed by SGS as meeting the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 requirements for “provision of professional training courses for fashion and garment industry technician”.

The Institute is recognised as a “Technical and Fashion School” by the “Federation Apparel Industry”; it is a member of the SMI-ATI (Textile A.V.D., Clothing Industry Italian Association), of A.N.I.N.S.E.I. (National Association of Non-State Education and Instruction Institutes); since 1972 it has been under the protection of the Italian Association of Clothing Operators (A.I.T.C.).

Didactic director, Danilo Migliorini, is a member of the A.I.F. (Italian Educators Association) and of the A.I.S.L. (Italian Work Study Association).
