Istituto Secoli courses try to respond all the different training needs and requests on structures, length of time, intensity and specialization. Every course is planned starting from the analysis of the different kind of professionals within fashion system and they are aimed to give an everyday more proper training, suitable to market needs.

Monothematic or updating courses
Summer courses
Two years, One year and Master courses have an academic structure and they’re mainly thought for young people who already got a degree and want to enter the world of fashion.
Among all of those, “Pattern Maker and Fashion Designer” course offers a complete training on all of the steps in planning a collection (style and design, product, and manufacturing).
“Pattern Maker” courses multiple offers are focused (in different timings and attendances) on pattern design planning and manufacturing teaching and are thought for people who want to work as pattern makers. Many of our students come here from other universities or fashion schools because they wish to fulfill their knowledge with the study of pattern making.

Masters courses, brand new at Secoli, are exclusively for our ex-students and are aimed to improve students’ entry into business reality trying to directly involve companies into training programs (“Clothing Planner” master course) or to fulfill their training with subjects concerning haute couture design, tailored pattern making and tailor made manufacturing techniques (“Woman’s wear” master course).
Monothematic, Updating, Saturdays and Evening courses because of their intensity, duration, structure and attendance, are thought for workers and professionals coming from fashion system or not. There are plenty of offers in this category aimed to fill up some specific training blank. They are divided into macro areas (design courses, pattern making courses, manufacturing courses, CAD courses, Pc graphics courses, organization courses).
In these sections you can find short term updating courses (usually only for our ex-students) forming “PROGETTO FORMAZIONE CONTINUA” (continuous training project). Project objective is to give a concrete answer to the need for innovation and evolution requested to professionals by fashion market.
A special mention to Summer courses (also dived by macro areas) that offer classic short term courses for professionals and courses for everyone mainly thought for those students (overall foreigners) who want to intensively deepen their training. |
